Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is an actress and model American-born model and actress. When she was in 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, Suvari began to act in television programs like Boy Meets World. She debuted in film with the show Nowhere that was which was released in 1997. After her performances in American Beauty (for which she received the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted greater attention, she began her transition into major role. She has been a strong activist and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. Additionally, she has been involved in issues of female empowerment and is involved with charities whose cause is breast cancer as well as the End Violence Against Women campaign.
